Bell Investment Advisors Hosts Oakland Evening Event, “TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Discovering positive social impact in Oakland and in your investment portfolio”

OAKLAND, Calif. September 8, 2016 /PR Newswire/ — Bell Investment Advisors has announced it will be hosting a special wine and cheese reception and seminar, TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Discovering positive social impact in Oakland and in your investment portfolio, on Wednesday, September 21 from 6 to 8 pm. The event will be held at Cerruti Cellars, 100 Webster Street, near Jack London Square. Local wines and fine appetizers will be served.

In contrast to the contentious atmosphere of the election season, the presentation will abound with good news. Jose Corona, Director of Equity and Strategic Partnerships in the Office of Mayor Libby Schaff, will fill us in about good things happening in the City of Oakland during this period of growth. Also speaking will be Suzanna Rush, the Operations Manager of Kiva.org, a local organization that offers micro loans to local entrepreneurs to help them develop and grow their businesses. One of the loan recipients will be present to talk about her experience of success.

The presenters from Bell Investment Advisors will be Heidi Stoltz, Investment Advisor, and Corinne Salera, Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager, both leaders in The Women’s Roundtable at Bell, which sponsors quarterly events. This special off-site event is open to both men and women. Ms. Stoltz and Ms. Salera will be speaking about how to align your money with your values to promote positive social impact.

Ms. Stoltz says, “This will be a great night to come together and to showcase Oakland’s positive momentum. We’re all looking forward to it!”

Parking is free in the winery parking lot and on the street after 6 pm. In addition, there are pay parking lots in close proximity. Please enter on the far side of the building closest to the railroad tracks, not from the parking lot.

There is no fee to attend. Space is limited and reservations are required. For inquiries or reservations, please contact us at 800.700.0089 or RSVP@bellinvest.com. An evening of local wine and uplifting stories — what could be better?
