Bell Sponsors S.F. Gay Men’s Chorus Concert, Tales of Our City: Our Lives, Our Heroes

OAKLAND, CA. April 8, 2016 — Bell Investment Advisors has announced it is sponsoring the April 14 and 15 concert of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, Tales of Our City: Our Lives, Our Heroes at 8 p.m. at the Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall, 201 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco. The concert features the 300 men of the Chorus, special guest artist Armistead Maupin, and the 65-piece Bay Area Rainbow Symphony, under the direction of Dawn Harms. “Tales of Our City will take the listener on a journey that spans over four decades,” writes Dr. Timothy Seelig, Artistic Director of SFGMC. The show is largely based on Mr. Maupin’s “Tales of The City”, a witty, long-running serial in the San Francisco Chronicle begun 40 years ago, which brought the colorful life and times of San Francisco to the entire world.
