OAKLAND, CA. March 11, 2015 – Bell Investment Advisors, a Bay Area registered investment advisory firm, announced today that they will be conducting a free webinar, “Financial Literacy & Behavior for Adults and Young Adults” on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, 2 – 2:30 pm. The webinar is part of an ongoing series of events that reflect the firm’s dedication to providing free educational opportunities to the greater community focused on investment management, financial planning, and career/life coaching.
This presentation will focus on financial literacy and the necessary actions associated with a solid financial foundation, including the fundamentals of budgeting, credit, investing, and more. Jim Bell, CFP®, President & Founder, and Heidi Stoltz, Investment Advisor, both of Bell Investment Advisors, will present the material.
The discussion could benefit adults who may be fine-tuning their financial objectives, and also young adults who may still be learning basic financial principles. Financial fundamentals will be the focus, but there will also be an exploration of how financial literacy and responsibility are grounded in a philosophy of dignity. With this underlying perspective, the team will teach principles of budgeting, spending, banking, borrowing, saving, and investing.
Jim Bell has said, “In the process of making a good life happen for oneself, certain skills are critical for achieving dignity, well-being, and influence. Financial literacy is one of those required critical skills.”
