Positive Leadership and Innovation Training at U.C. Berkeley

Two of our long-time staff Certified Financial Planner™ professionals, Laurent Harrison, CFP®, and Dana Nelson, CFP® graduated from the Certified Financial Planning Program at U.C. Berkeley in 2012. At the time, Keith Gatto, Ph.D., was the head of the program, and we at Bell became well-acquainted with his warm personality, humor, and exceptional teaching style. He is still a good friend and supporter.

Now, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Gatto is the lead instructor of another innovative program at U.C. Berkeley, this time within the Engineering School, called Positive Leadership and Innovation, described as a three-day strength-based program that empowers leaders to create a positive culture within their organizations, which fosters both the mindset and behaviors that allow teams and employees to become more innovative.

The program is taught by U.C. Berkeley faculty and leading Silicon Valley experts, such as Brendan Browne, VP of Global Talent Acquisition at LinkedIn; Maya Carter, Sr. Manager of Learning and Development at Samsung Research, America; Andrew Gordon, Animator, at Pixar; and Ruchika Sikri, Manager, Sustainable Performance and Well-being Learning at Google.

The program is offered on the U.C. Berkeley campus November 8 – 10, 2017 and June 13 – 15, 2018 for senior executives, development managers, and strategic leaders. The cost is $4500. Please register for the Positive Leadership and Innovation Program at exec-ed.berkeley.edu. A maximum of 30 participants will be admitted per cohort. This ensures optimum peer-to-peer and faculty-led learning, as well as optimal community building prospects.
