After losing ground in August, stocks bounced back globally in September. While domestic stocks fared well with the S&P 500 Index gaining 3.1%, it was foreign stocks that led the way. The MSCI EAFE Index jumped 7.4% in September, marking the largest margin of outperformance over the S&P 500 since May 2009 when this bull market was in its infant stages.
